What is the purpose of the Dolce Symposium?

The purpose is to train fellow aesthetic injectors how to integrate PDO Threads into their practice and how to combine them with advanced filler, botox, and laser services. Only, in a hands on training with 40-50 patients, can you develop the skills to safely offer these treatments immediately.

Are attendees responsible for hotel stay or shuttle transportation?

Hotel and shuttle transportation are fully covered by Benev, our main sponsor. Attendees are only responsible for their airfare to our event.

Is there a specific dress code?

During the clinical portion of the Symposium, scrubs are required. The Thursday Welcome Reception will be a White and Black party, cocktail attire is recommended. For the Friday VIP Bash, join us for a night of fun in high fashion! the party will be a Dolce & Gabbana theme so we encourage everyone to dress to the nines, cheetah print encouraged!

Who is Scott Callahan, PA-C?

Scott Callahan, PA-C is a 25 Year Plastic Surgical Physician Assistant and is the CEO/Founderof Dolce Vida Medical Spa in CT. Best known for his contributions to the PDO Thread industry as the head trainer for Mint and Miracu Threads over the last 9 years.

After 15 years in the operating room in Plastic and Cardiac Surgery, he began Dolce Vida as one of the first medical spas on the East Coast and is a trainer for multiple companies such as Benev, Hansbiomed, Galderma, Merz Aesthetics, Suneva, and Venus Concept.

He has spoken at The Aesthetic Show, Aesthetic Extender Symposium, LAMCA, VIMUST, A4M and hosts the popular 9 Dolce Vida symposiums.

Can I bring my own model or patient to the symposium?

Dolce Vida University provides all models and patients for the symposium as well as all equipment and materials.

I have special dietary or equipment needs, who should I contact?

For any specific dietary or equipment needs, please contact Scott Callahan, PA-C at scott@dolcevidauniversity.com. Be sure to include your full name and a brief description of your needs in the email.

Will there be an allocated time for attendees to receive treatment?

Yes, attendees will be able to receive treatment during allocated time blocks, if desired.

Airports that are conveniently located near our Ridgefield building and hotel would be White Plains, NY or LGA or JFK or Newark. From NY airports, it is approximately a 1-1.5 hour drive based on traffic.
